I've been teaching Spanish now for 26 years at the high schools level, 23 at
the junior college and just over 11 at BYUI online. I absolutely love what I do! My wife, Jill, and
I have 4 children, Joshua, 24, Allison, 22, Natalie 19, and Kira 15. We were married on August 13th, 1993. Click

I spent 2 years in Argentina
as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints.
I received my BA in
Spanish Translation in April, 1993 from Brigham Young University, and my MA in
Spanish from
California State University, Sacramento in May,
1998. I'm currently working on my doctorate in Online Learning.
I teach advanced Spanish
at Bear River High School
in Grass Valley, and evening Spanish courses at
Folsom
Lake Community College in Folsom and online Spanish at BYU Idaho.
I also worked at Comedy Sportz improvisational theatre. Its like the show "Who's line is it anyway?" only much, much better!!
I enjoy watching hockey
(Go Sharks!) and playing volleyball, cooking and reading (especially P. G.
Wodehouse, Rex Stout & other mysteries). I am originally from a small town to the west of
San José called Saratoga. I graduated from Prospect High School in 1986.
